Rise of the Kaadara Rebelion

Mandalore followed the Sith through the corridors, occasionally ordering his Witch-hunters to take up positions with their captive force users, acting as waypoints and sensers.

"Genus. I hope you know I do not intend to let your men leave this place with any of the sith artifacts here. I do not trust you, even beyond your grave I shan't. Whoever or whatever you have left behind to continue leading your Empire shall be my next target after you're death."

It suddenly struck Mandalore as to what the heretic had said about Kong.

"Wait... Kong is here? why?.... Why flee from one sinking ship to another? I hope for his own sake he has abandoned the sickening illness that is the force... he was a good warrior."

Genus shook his head slightly

Mandolore, what you don’t seem to realise is that my death will most likely deal more damage to you and your bodyguards then it would to my empire. Plus, the force shield I have would have been able to deflect any attack Sidious taught them right back at them. Even if it had not, my armour would have saved me, but at a cost to the amount of time it could have sustained me. But anyway, it doesn’t matter. You got to kill some force users and you will be killing lots more before the day ends, including me. I ask you one thing, when we encounter the fallen Jedi Kong, leave him to me.

Mandolore replied but genus wasn’t fully listening, studying the witch hunters squads, more specifically the captive force users. One of the women seemed strangely familiar. Genus pushed the thought from his mind and turned back to Mandolore.

Back to business, our forces are out there and I’m sure that you would rather fewer of them died then the total that will die if we keep waiting here. The clone labs are this way

Genus gestured and turned away from Mandolore, but a hand grabbed him and the force rushed out of him, leaving him weak. A helmeted face appeared before him as he was pulled around.

How do you know this heretic?

Because Mandolore, before you grabbed me I was able to sense the dark power flooding out of the cloning lab, just a faint trance of it. The only reason your captured force users can’t sense it is because they don’t appear to have ever been on a world saturated with dark side energy, and even I am struggling to sense it.

Genus heard a faint whine coming from his armour as it began to malfunction without the force flowing though it. Just before the armour collapsed under it’s own weight Mandolore let go and Genus felt the force return. A small symbol flashed in front of Genus’s eyes and he saw that the contact had drained it of almost three hours of power.

Lead on, heretic

Mandolore gestured, giving Genus time to pull himself together. Genus turned and lead the way into the dark fortress, feeling like he had a blaster pointed right at the base of his skull, just waiting to go off…

The Stealth Ship landed on top of the Citadel roof, and the mass of Mandalorian Witch Hunters- Lead by Genus and his regiment, used cables to lower themselves down in front of Genus and his men.

"You're all useless."
Mandalore croaked, before firing at an empty space in front of them all. A couple of seconds later, Dark-side adepts in stealth suits dropped to the ground.
"Even if I wasn't going to kill you later- you'll have only gotten yourself killed."

Genus shook his head as he saw the message. It spoke of arrogance that Mandolore assumed he could boss Genus around. It was a real shame that Ten had turned into Mandolore, as he would have made a very good sith. Genus pushed the thought aside called HK-01 to the cabin, once the droid arrived he said.

Hk, contact several of the droid ships and order them to gather chunks of the wreckage from the battle and have them prepare to drop them though the atmosphere towards the imperial citadel. I don’t want them big enough to destroy it, just enough to break open the top couple of floors.

Statement: It has be done.

Hk-01 seemed to almost shut down were it stood, but Genus could detect on his scanners the signal being sent out to the selected droid ships. Genus didn’t bother watching them get n with their task, he instead opened a communications channel to the Mandolorian super commandoes and saw a hologram of one of them appear on his screen.

What is your will, my lord?

Commander Vomas, I want you and the super commandoes to be ready to launch as soon as the droid ships release the wreckage onto the citadel. We are to follow behind it and basically use it as cover while trying to decent to the surface. Once it has broken though the citadel, we are to follow it inside and take the fight to the defenders inside of it.

My lord, that is a dangerous plan. The chances of the entirety of the mandolorian forces under your command making it is so close to zero that it makes no difference.

Vomas, I didn’t say commandoes, I said super commandoes, meaning there will only be 21 people with me. We can easily get in behind the wreckage.

My lord, I still believe there is too much danger

Then you are a coward and you bring shame to the Mando’a Tradition! If you will not face this risk because your nerves are weak, then I will have to executed and replaced.

My lord, I am no coward! I am only thinking about the lives of my troops and my master, something that you don’t seem to be capable of doing! Your hatred has blinded you and will lead you to dying before you can achieve the glorious vision you promised us. I protest not because I fear for my life, but because you don’t seem to be yourself.

That was very brave Vomas. Any other sith would have executed you on the spot, but it is people like you that I need in commander of my forces. Your objection is noted, but the force has shown me that this is the way toward victory.

It will be coming almost as soon as the wreckage has been released

Genus closed the channel and turned back to Hk-01, who was still in his almost trance like state. Genus waited several minutes, until Hk powered back up again

Statement: the ships are in position

Tell them to release the wreckage, but try to avoid hitting the Mandolorian forces.

Statement: the wreckage is away

Genus turned back to the controls and launched from the shuttlebay and sent a quick message to Vomas. Seconds later he saw a small swarm of ships leave one of his ships. After a couple of minutes, the mish-mash of ships surrounded him and were diving though the atmosphere in the path of the wreckage. Huge amounts of flak were being absorbed by the wreckage, some of it being destroyed by it, but there was simply too much in the bombardment, and it soon hit the citadel, caving a huge chunk out of the side of it and opening a gap big enough for the Genus’s small fleet to get in though. Ten minutes later the small ships landed in the huge gap and disembarked after a few missiles had been shot to destroy every likely ambush spot in the landing zone. The mandolorians formed up and Genus left HK-01 and his noghri bodyguard behind to guard the ships.

Before we take the fight to them, I want s to split into to teams, Vomas will control one, I will be in charge of the other one. Any dark side artefacts, tomes, weapons or items are to be sent back to my ships and given to my bodyguards. I want everything in this citadel that is aiding in its defence destroyed. Am I understood?

Replied 21 voices. The splitting into teams was quickly done and soon they had split up and were advancing into the Enemy’s fortress. Genus smiled, come and get me Kong, he though. I have already done so much damage here that it nearly doesn’t matter if I live to be killed by mandolore. Genus advanced into the fortress, pulling a baton like weapon from his belt, the walls shaking slightly from distant impacts of falling wreckage…

"Air incoming!!!" Shouted a soldier.
"Man the AA-guns and get the to their AT-AAs!" Kong ordered. The bombers were becoming increasable annoying. Soon the AT-AAs were up and firing on the air units.
"Hah No one getting though here will I'm here." Kong said with a smile. A bomber got shot down but unforantely crashing straight into the stronghold. Kong and the Purge trooper headed back for the landing pad the drop ship was there but look like it had a pretty bad time.
"Dam escort fighters were on us..."
"Don't worry about it, as long as the shadow troopers are here."
"Yes we are sir" They said disembarking
"You best stay on there I want to engage the enemy before they get here"

Kong and the Purge trooper joined the rest of the squad shadow troopers on the the dropship and flow off towards a urban area. The suppressors on the shadows weaponry will become very useful for this up coming ambush. So they could see the enemy force and they all hid in their ambush places and waited.

fter leaving most of the ship work to Genuses fleet, Mandalore now had stopped them being a threat to his own fleet after the battle was over. He smiled at the bombardment that had began against the surface of Byss and the stronghold on there, and sent down his first wave of troops.
Mandalore nodded silently at the Admiral of the fleet, and headed down to the Hanger Bay.
"Time to purge the very centre of hell... Oh Emperor Palpatine, this shall be the end of your fool-hardy Empire. The Force is a very weak scaffold... so easy to break."

Mandalore smiles as he see's Halo Squadron standing there in their uniform as his Guard, all armed with Elite Blaster rifles and enhanced blades, similar to his own, except not built into their suits and not as finely crafted.

It was Tik and his men, but in planet-side armour.
"My lord, we're ready with the Witch Hunters for the battle on the surface- the first wave has already departed. do we stick with the original plan and leave now to catch the Stronghold unaware?"

Mandalore thought for a second, then came to his decision.
"Definitely Tik, we leave now, and clear out the Stronghold to wait for the arrival of the False Mandalore."
He prodded in a message through the comm on his wrists to Genus, telling him to wait for his command.
"Lets go boys."
They got into their Stealth Lander and took off with their retinue of Witch Hunters.

There was constant bombarding and the stronghold was taking a beating from but still holding. Kong and the Purge trooper were on top of landing pad.

"Get the rest of the special units squad over here."
"On it Sir"

The pilot ran over to the drop ship and headed back to the Dragon.Kong and the Purge trooper had holed up for awhile since the bombard kept them very suppressed. They soon had confirmation of enemy ground units.

"This is command, we have made available SPMA-T for support. Use them well and good luck.
"Heh that should even the odds a little" Kong said with a smug grin. So he waited until he could viusaly confirm them himself before he started sending the coordinates. The landing pad gave him a great view point but slightly vulnerable too an air attacks.

Comunications switched off and laughed at the thought of how Genus underestimated his power. what a great flaw of one's character. Cal had learnt this mistake from Maul and wouldnt fall because of it.

Moments later he landed with his force near the mandolorians crash site where he was ordered to meet up with and secretly though they did not know it lead them to battle......

Genus opened his eyes and knew it was trime to begin the assault. He opened a communications channel and selected Cal's star destroyer, after a few seconds a 1/4 size image of cal appeared on the screen, his usual angry expression on his face.

Cal. I have a job for you. You are to lead the first wave of the assault on the imperial citidal. Remember, just attack the citidal, leave the cities. You will fighting alone side the mandolorian first wave, who won't hesitate to kill you if you annoy them, so don't give them reason to.

No mandolorian can match my might...

Genus closed the communications channel before he got the full sith boasting speech. He leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, extending his senses out to the planet below, sensing the troops n the ground and his foe, the jedi Kong...

Kong stood puzzled amgost all the troops. The message he recieved mention jedi scum. Also waht puzzled him was the fact could never rember being a Jedi. The message was also clearely was from the enemey kong thought.

hmm best go see to that my self and find about this Jedi, he though

Kong walked towards the Purge Trooper.

"Hey, come with me you might be some of help once again." Kong siad.

So both of them began to make their way to the Stronghold.

Genus was woken from his trance earlier then he expected. When he came round, a data pad was passed to him and he smile as he saw that loses where low, with only ten ships being destroyed, mostly in a fleet fleeing action. He was also pleased to note the flagship was in his possession, but it wasn't as he expected.

A semi completed super star destroyer, built along the lines of an imperial II class star destroyer? An interesting concept, but not really that powerful.

Yes, my Lord.

Genus scanned the rest of the list of items and saw a curt message from mandolore saying that he was itching to start the fight. Genus returned the pad and stood up, feeling his aged body deteriorate.

Captain, order the fleet into orbit and scan the surface, bombard any location that might pose a threat with an ion bombardment. I am not interested in destroying the cities, we can leave that to mandolore. I want to begin the landing as soon as the surface defences are neutralised. I will go to my ship and wait for the assault to begin.

Genus returned to his shuttle, followed by his bodyguards. As they went to the aft of the ship, Genus began priming the engines. He then encoded a message for Kong

You will have to go to the imperial stronghold if you want to try and stop me. I have no interest in the citizans, though Ten Meri might. I will see you soon, Jedi scum.

Genus sent the holo message and entered a trance, letting the force tell him when it was time to launch...

After much fighting and arguing, The civilians had finally all gone.
"Sir you do you think that those ships will even get past the opposing fleet?"
"Porbaly not and we can't do a thing about it, also I've heard our fleet has been taking a beating" Kong replyed rather depressingly.
"This is going to make it alot more harder to fight down here as far as I know all we have as support is the Dragon, what good will that do..." Said another trooper.
Atmosphere was quite dull and depressing, it didn't really go down to well with Kong.
"Well I guess we better get some defences up, lets head back for the dragon and fortify the landing area" KOng siad trying to light up the mood slightly. The clones seemed comeplety fine with the whole depressing thing.

They soon arrived there. The landing area was pretty small snice all it could hold was the Imperial Dragon. Lots of the other stormtroopers had made their way back aswell. The other 3000 or so troops would prove very helpful.
"Set up some anti-air, the Dragon will be a sitting duck while its landed" Kong ordered. Soon after a few AT-AAs had arrived hopefuly to keep units off them.
Kong took a quick look in the hanger bay of the dragon.
"Wow this stuff really is out of date... man LAATs?, Well anyway sir we Command has sent some of the garrsioned troops to us" Said a soldier behind Kong.
"Well thats good to know, I hope its enoguh" KOng said

Genus flicked his wrist and the holodisplay opened up on the bridge, showing the disposition of the empire's fleet and the allied forces. A string of names went up the side of the display and then went to the appropriate ship. It took only a few seconds, but Genus was able to read every name that went past. There was one ship they could not identify, located at the centre of the fleet.

Now now Sidious, I would have though that this fleet would be made of the most advanced ships in the entire galaxy, not a collection of relics from the clone wars.

We are in position my lord.

Execute the attack plan and prepare some boarding parties.

My Lord?

The unidentified ship is properbly the most advanced ship in the fleet, as well as the flagship. We shall take it and turn it against Byss's forces.

What forces shall we send in the boarding parties?

A mixed force of B3, droid commandoes and droideka. Also, I want a second wave of B2 and B1 droids sent over.

Yes my Lord.

Launch them when I say.

Captain Pellaeon turned and began issuing orders. After a few seconds Genus saw the flashes of turbolasers trying to find their range. The return fire was just as scattered, but soon the laser fire was being traded at an extrodinary rate, with enough energy being released to turn a planet to molten slag, but still the fleets were relatively unbattered. Pellaeon turned back to genus and before he could speak, Genus nodded and the fleet moved forwards, throwing off the enemies targeting computers. A steady stream of fighters exited the allied fleet and began to enter formation. Genus closed his eyes and streched out with the force, touching every mind in the empire's fleet at the same time. He twisted their thoughs against them and tried to them to despair, but there was something stopping him. He lashed out and found that he reconisded the presence blocking him. He smiled as they clashed in a battle of wills. While they were trying to drive each other out, it seemed to them as if they were standing in a black room, with a single shaft of light showing them. Genus appeared as a crippled old man on a throne, and his foe, the emperor appeared as an age weary man.

The dark side has not been kind to you Sidious.

Compared to you, the dark side has been kind.

Come now, we both know that no matter how much the dark side takes out, it gives in power. And we both know that there are ways to get around it, and I am taking yours away.

There are always others, young Genus.

Yes there are, but there are ways to stop you transfering your spirit, say like you being killed by Ten Meri, who is now a null in the force.

But he can't get to me without the force. I have provided for that possibility. And you wont be there to help him defeat me, because every possible future of this battle has you die on Byss, win or lose.

And now, I show my supremacy, by crushing weak resistance to my battle meditation.

The shaft of light shrunk and pointed between them. it then shifted towards Sidious, and when it hit him, instead of forcing Genus back into his body, the beam shifted and raced towards Genus, then surrounded him. Genus raised his head and the light was absorbed by his skin. Genus turned back to sidious and smiled.

You lose, Sidious

No, not possible

Genus raised his hand and sent a blast of light at the Emperor and sent his spirit back into his body, severing the entire imperil fleet from his battle meditation, throwing every imperial fleet into disarray. Genus returned to his body after sowing fear into the mind of every member of the opposing fleet, adding to the chaos. He sucked in air as if he had just risen from the grave and felt his body slowly die around him. Pellaeon turned towards him with a look of worry in his eyes.

Captain, signal the fleet to take up support fire positions. The imperial fleet has just been thrown into disarray and the Mandolorian fleet will want to close with them, so lets destract them. Also launch torpedoes at the edges of the fleet, to catch them off guard. Launch the boarding parties in ten minutes and the second wave ten minutes later. Awake me from my trance once the ship is ours. I also want a casuility report ready then as well.

Pellaeon bowed and turned to issue orders. While he turned Genus sunk down his seat and entered a trance, trying to return his energy to an decent level instead of dangerously low trickle...

"Don't let them pass unless they have their passes." It took all Kong's tweleve squads to hold the crowrds and stil they were sturggliung. A blaster shot was fired at one of kong's men narrowly missing him. Kong had seen the colperate hiding amost the crowd clearly holding a blaster. Come gripped with the force and and lifted him towards himself. Kong could see the terror in his, watching how he stared down into kongs red visor. Then Kong start to crush him with the force hearing his bone crunch. He droped the body to the floor. The Civies stared in horror at Kong.
"Try and do anything stupid and you will end up justl ike him" Kong shouted.

A dull thud constatly followed Kong. The Purge trooper was constatly behind him, althought the driod was always getting werid looks from the locals. Kong had ordered all his squads to spread out and patrol serpate areas.
"Hmm at least we can count on support from our ship"Kong said
"Those ships are very out of date sir" A showdow unit replaied.
"Still thought, a good way for quick transportation"

Alarms blazed all over the city and could be heard from miles. Soon loud speakers activated "All citzen please head for shetler or prepare for evaction". The same message repeated and repeated.
"Something bad is heading this way" mentioned a a trooper.
Soon new orders came in to help the civis out and make sure no trouble came.

The ship decended from the sky to a huge landing pad. The massive landing ramp opened and 3200 troops disembarked. Kong marched down with his twleve sqauds. He soon saw the rest of his speical units squad, Their armor almost the same as a storm trooper. Their red visors looked very intimadating.
"I guess your the rest if the sqaud?" Kong questioned
"Yes Sir" They all shouted, their voices exaclty the same.
"Clones?" Kong said surprised.
"yes sir" They shouted again.
The troops and kong marched towards a populated and rather urban area. They had been tasked with patrolling this part of the city, this huge city.

After several hours, Genus got a signal from the fleet he had sent.

I appears the trick has worked. Captain signal the fleet and prepare to enter hyperspace. Then contact Mandolore and let him know the good news.

Right away my lord.

As the crew got busy with the preperations, the Mandolorian fleet entered hyperspace. A few minutes later the sith fleet followed close behind. Genus then opened a secure comm channel and send a code to a secondary fleet, one that would follow behind and cause havoc in the deep core and capture key institlations and resources. The beauty of this fleet was it could cart its stolen goods away. Genus closed the channel and settled into his chair, feeling his aged body grow weaker. As he neared Byss, he sensed a presence he reconised, but it was somehow twisted. The chimera dropped out of hyperspace and he was glad to see the wreakage of the defence network all around him.

Procced with the second phase of the plan. ALso, scan for any union ships as well as any ships that are not meant to be here.

My Lord?

I sense a familiar precence, the jedi Kong, but it is different somehow.

Genus watched as the fleets prepared for the combined jump and he waited until Mandolore gave the signal. Once it was given, the fleets left together. After another hour, they reached the emperor's stronghold world of Byss, and its surrounding fleet...

"This is the captin of Imperial Dragon, we will soon be entering hyperspace. We have been ordered to move to move onto Byss for routine patrol. This is all we currently know at the moment"Boomed though the ships speakers

Kong was now gearing up for possbily his first mission as a Shadow Guard. He had finished gearing up with his medipack, heavy blaster and his lightsaber pike. He felt slighlty nervous but thow it aside, snice he should deffinlity not show it when he leads all his men to battle.

Cal's star destroyer sped though hyperspace, heading towards correlia. After several hours meditating in the chambers he had been assigned, Genus headed to the bridge and waked in as he saw that the molten sky of hyperspace turned into starlines and then stars.

My lord, shall I alert Genus to our arrival?

No need officer, I am here already

Cal turned towards Genus and he could sense that a new hatred burned within Cal. Before Cal could speak a flickering light appeared on the com board and Genus flicked his hand, turning the holoprojector on, causing the picture of a Mandolorian encased in golden armour to appear in the middle of the bridge. Genus stepped before it and smiled.

You took your sweet time getting here Genus.

My apologies Mandolore, but I had a little Jedi problem to deal with in my fortress.

What kind of problem?

Asked Mandolore, his voice a mix of curiosity and concern. Genus smiled slightly

A Jedi master problem, more specifically jedi masters Echuu Shen-John, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Grand Master Yoda. They are all dead now, but as you can see, it almost cost me my life, as I am now physically One hundred and four. But enough of this small talk. Are your ships and troops ready?

Of course, heretic, they have been ready for several days, what about you?

As if on cue, Genus's fleet dropped out of hyperspace in formation and seemed to almost be standing off against Mandolore's fleet.

I will just need to return to the flagship of this fleet and then we can leave for Byss and victory!

I do not detect your flagship amongst the fleet

It is currently experiencing power problems as a result of sabotarge on the part of the three jedi, but my flag has been temporarily been transfered to the chimera. Its captain is Gilad Pellaeon, he will be consulted if I am unaviable

Very well, to byss and your death

Mandolore shut off the holoprojector at his end and Genus turned to cal.

Get your ship in formation and await my orders. We do not want rash actions, otherwise it will result in our deaths, and if your survive, but cause our defeat then your life is forfit, and remember, you owe me your life.

Before Cal could reply, Genus turned and left the bridge, heading to his shuttle. After a few minutes Genus took off from the star destroyer. He sensed the unleashing of force energy on the bridge of the star destroyer. Genus opened commications to Gilad Pellaeon and waited for a few seconds for the mini hologram to appear before him.

My Lord, what is your will.

I am transffering my flag to the chimera. Also, Mandolore will be contacting the chimera to get in contact with me. I will be arriving shortly, but despence with all ceremony as we will need to be ready to leave shortly.

Ok my lord, may I just say what an honour it is to have the chimera named as the fleet flagship

Genus flew into the chimera hanger and order the flight crew to see to his ship. Genus marched to the bridge with his bodyguards. There was the minimum amount of ceremony, just enough to keep the crew content. After Genus sate down in the Admiral chair, a reaper display ring slid out in front of him, and began showing the state of the ship's systems.

Captain, is my fleet ready?

Yes, My lord, all is ready.

Very well, send the command signal to the automated ships and then send as message to Mandolore saying that we are beginning our first phase of the attack

Captain Pellaeon got busy following Genus's orders. Genus looked out of the forward viewscreen and watched as the automated star destroyers began to leave for Byss. The battle had begun, and the future was hidden from Genus for the moment...

Genus landed his shuttle onto cal's star destroyer and could instantly sense cal and another user of the force. An apprentice perhaps. Genus locked his ships systems and stepped onto the deck. As expected, he wasn't greeted by cal, or even the other force user. Instead, there was a single bored trooper there, looking at him with contempt

You Genus?

Its Darth Genus, or my lord, and yes I am.

The captain said to lead you to some chambers that have been prepared for you.

Genus sensed that there was more emotion lurking under the surface of the trooper, and he was curious as to what the reason was

Tell me what is on your mind, trooper.

None of your business, old man.

You have two choices here, you tell me what I want to know or I will tear your mind out and search it myself.

Yeah, right.

Then under his breath the trooper muttered

Stupid old fool, I could kill he in a second, I don't know why the captain requested that he be treated with respect.

Before the trooper knew what had happened, he had been lifted into the air and hurled across the room by Genus. As he recovered his senses, he was lifted up again and flipped him upside down and brought him hovering in front of Genus's face

There is a reason that cal extends a large amount of respect towards me, and that is because I was, am and always will be more powerful in the dark side of the force then he is. I am given a large amount of respect because I rule this empire you find yourself serving. I advice you keep your mouth shut if you want to live.

But..but you are an old man, how can you be our leader

Because I have power beyond your imagination.

With that, Genus dropped the trooper, before the trooper hit the floor he blasted him across the deck with force lightening, not quite killing him. Genus gestured and the datapad the trooper had carried flew into his hand.

I think I can find my own way to my chambers

Genus turned away from his ship, HK-01 and his noghri bodyguard still onboard, incase anyone got any ideas. Genus walked into the corridors and made his way towards the chambers he was assigned...

A small transport ship suddenly stops in midflight in its travel to correlia.

"open communications" calls out cal as his star destroyer intercepted Darth Genus's ship.

A armoured man appears but with a extremely aged appearence underneath but cal instantly knew it was Genus.

" You look terrible, what happened to you?" laughs cal with a grin on his face.

"Dont be mistaken from my appearence im stil more powerul than you" remarks genus "anyway where have you been? deserting in the midst of war"

"nevermind that get on board before i destroy you with your ship" cal replies sarcastically

communication ends with the embarking of genus and his ship aboard his mighty star destroyer...

"found you darth genus no one can hide from me, i knew in time i would find you again, where are they my apprentice?" cal shouts the last question over to where his apprentice was near the navigation controls.

"he his heading towards correlia in a small transport master" replies the youthful apprentice

Genus awoke full of pain. Opening his eyes Genus saw that he was back in the medical facility, looking to the sides required all of Genus's effort and he saw that he was hooked up to every kind of medical machine he knew, and then some more he couldn't identify. He saw droplets of bacta on his skin, trying to reverse the damage done by the dark side energy he had drawn on. Genus returned to looking at the ceiling and listened to the hum of machines for several minutes, he then heard the doors open and several pairs of feet hitting the floor, and a pair of armoured boots. Before Genus could press his advantage a lightsaber came spinning down the corridor and hit Genus's shield, breaking his concentration. As Genus turned to fling lightening at the lightsaber, Yoda struck, striking Genus's shoulder, Genus's counter strike ripped a hole in the jedi's robes. Yoda landed and launched himself back into the air. Genus crossed his blades and blocked Yoda's attacks, but he was forced to yield his attacks back. Yoda landed again and turned to Genus

Genus had several distorted runes flashing in the sides of what remained of his viser, his shield was down as his armour was breached in several places, robbing him of several key systems, including the emergency teleport. Genus's left lightsaber was flickering as power was failing to reach it. Yoda's robe was smoking in a couple of spots, he was favouring one of his legs and his breathing had become heavier because of the blow to his side. Before either of them could launch another attack, Genus collapsed as he felt his energy drain out of him and he looked up at yoda who slowly walked towards him, lightsaber in hand.

A spectral hand appeared around the handle and then a ghostly outline appeared above Genus. The lightsaber moved, forcing Yoda back and giving Genus space. Genus focused and drew yet again upon the Vor'Na'Tu, charging him with healing energy. After He had healed he rose to his feet and saw an unusual sight, a small green jedi battling against a dark force spirit, atura against Djem So. Genus turned and saw Obi-Wan staggering towards him. Genus smiled and charged at Obi-Wan. Genus quickly disarmed the old jedi and kicked him against the wall, before he could recover, Genus ran him though with his remaining saber and leaned in close to Obi-Wan

You are a fool, you should have stayed in hiding, I would never had found out you where still alive. You have not only brought about your own death, but that of Shen-Jon and master Yoda. Also, you have handed me the Vor'Na'Tu, sealing the fate of any remaining jedi.

Genus pressed the Vor'Na'Tu against Obi-Wan's head and reached out with the darkside, draining Obi-Wan of his power and trapping Obi-Wan's spirit n the crystal. Genus withdrew the crystal and his lightsaber. He quickly cut Obi-Wan's head off after the body fell to the ground, just to be sure. He turned are charged towards Yoda and the force ghost. Bane became visible and spun out of Genus's way. Yoda raised his lightsaber and tried to block Genus's attacks, but Genus was too deep into his rage and knocked the lightsaber out of Yoda's hand with his kick, he turned and disengaged his lightsaber and dropped the Vor'Na'Tu, but unleashed the full power of the beast against Yoda, Genus became the hulking monster and he battered Yoda with his metalic fists and ripped open the Jedi's chest with his claws. He punched Yoda and sent him to the floor, Genus turned back into himself and summoned the Vor'Na'Tu to his hand.

Genus pressed the crystal against Yoda's head and drained the force from him. The crystal grew hot and Genus dropped it. He turned back to the Jedi and saw he was still alive. Genus placed his lightsaber handle between the Jedi's eyes and ignited the blade, ending Yoda's life. Genus stood and observed the corridor, a shattered wreak, covered in blast marks. Genus moved around the corridor and collected the two lightsabers and studied them. Obi-Wan had created an almost exact copy of his previous lightsaber, where as Shen-Jon's was green and rather bland. Genus then returned to yoda's body and tried to pick up the Vor'Na'Tu, but it burned his armour and sent waves of pain though him. He let go of it and lifted it with the force, barely able to move it, but managing to get it into the vault in his chambers after much effort. Genus sealed it into the stasis section of the Vault, unwilling to risk it doing anything. He stored the lightsabers and locked the vault. He stripped out of his armour and dumped it on the floor. He turned and was not surprised to see bane standing there.

That is true, Genus, but I am impressed that the amount of energy you drew upon didn't destroy your body, as it has corrupted you physically beyond even the sith emperor, and he is older then I am.

Yet here I am, victorious over three jedi masters! I have claimed the Vor'Na'Tu, though it is unlikely I will ever be able to use it, and what has he done? He has hid on the edge of the galaxy and extended his life.

Do not over estimate your abilities Genus, you drained Lohen, Korriban and your flagship of all their power! that power will not be avaible for weeks, and even then, it will not be the same. You even drew upon Luke, Del, Cal and wis star without even knowing it. Your body is falling apart even as we speak and you will not survive that long.

But I have time to regather my strength and I have my sercret weapon that will mean I shall return. I will not be dead long when I die, and if all goes to plan, I will be able to draw on that kind of power all the time without the decay. Now leave me Bane, I have much energy to regain.

The ghost of bane faded and Genus slumped onto the chair in his chambers and began to slip into a trance, knowing he would likely be hooked up to a large amount of medical machienery when he awoke, as his guards would have seen the battle and would be on their way...
