lemme get this straight Cal... you're telling me, you think MAUL, an almost silent character, was the best dude in Episode 1? I'm sorry, but no WAY can I accept that. He may have looked pretty cool, but Liam Nielson played Qui-gon sooooooo much better! the character was well scripted, well acted (perhaps the only character in that movie who had good lines!) and was pretty damn kick ass. and before you even START on how Maul killed him, Qui-gon trained Obi-wan, who if I remember correctly, CUT HIM IN HALF! Maul won due to the fact he kept retreating.

but he still is so cool!!!!!

most of the depth and events that make maul seem so cool took place outside of the movies

Darth Maul is still way far cooler with the sith tatoes and the horns on his head and his cool double-ended lightsaber and the fact that he appeared in an actuall movie!

i think that even though darth maul is well drawn and designerd as a character, there are still others out there how are as cool or cooler that maul.

still but one would think they would want good to appeal more to people than evil

not totally true, but artists feel they can go to town more with the sith and evil, because it needs alot to create a proper sinister feel, were as the jedi have to be a bit more restrained

why is it that sith and evil characters in star wars look way cooler than jedi and good characters?
