MCA-325 Missile Launcher

This missle system is a mutli-tubed heavy weapon designed to deploy up to four micro-warheads at once, ranging from anti-personel to anti-verhicle and even anti-air missles. Designed to be taken into battle by foot soldiers, it can be carried on a trooper's back, but requires deployment before it can be fired. They are often deployed as a squad of three weapons, with a gunner and a loader for each one. With these weapons, Genuses Empire can set up a fearsome firebase within a matter of moments, supported by traditional blaster cannons and repeater cannons.

Armours

There are five kinds of armour that are considered standard issue, the three types that fall under the Plastron banner: Scout, Standard and Commando, alongside the Assualt Armour and Mandolorian Armour.

Plastron Armour:
Plastron is a mixed-plate style armour, using a combination of Thin Mandolorian Iron plates alongside standard Plastoid plates. The scout armour has a chestplate made of the Iron, with the standard adding bracers and greaves to that, and the commando rounding it off with a layer in the helmet. each armour type has a number of inbuild systems.
Scout: H.U.D. in helmet, gauntlet blade, air filters, inbuilt comlink with scambler, emergency beacon, slealth coating.
Standard: H.U.D. in helmet, gauntlet blade, air filters, inbuilt comlink with scambler, emergency beacon, shock gauntlet. Can be modified to support operation in more extreme enviroments.
Commando: Upgraded H.U.D. in helmet, gauntlet blade, air filters, inbuilt comlink with scambler, emergency beacon, hush-about jetpack, gauntlet computer (underarm), compact flamethrower, hidden dart launcher, deployable blades in boots.

Assualt Armour is designed for attacking and then holding a strongpoint, with this in mind, it is built around a Mandolorian Iron skeleton, and plated with a phrik-durasteel alloy, that grants it greater durability then standard armour, but not the same level as Mandolorian Armour. Like all the others, this armour also comes with a series of inbuilt systems.
Assualt Armour: Upgraded H.U.D. in helmet, reinforced gauntlet blade, air filters, inbuilt comlink with scambler, emergency beacon, anti-grav unit, limited energy shield, mirco-fusion generator with emergency eject, limited strength enhancement, inbuilt Verpine shatter gun.

Mandolorian Armour is impossible to classify, as it is a major part of the Mandolorian culture, so each suit is unique. As such, there are no 'baseline' examples to quote. However, for it to be a true suit of Mandolorian Armour, it needs to be made of Mandolorian Iron, which grants the suit near-indestructability to every energy, kenetic and plasma weapon in existance. However, due to the wieght of the metal, its not an all encompasing suit, so the Mandolorian can still be killed, if you get past his armour and skill. A common modification is the addition of a jetpack for added mobility.

IKE Weaponry

The IKE or Ion-Kenetic-Energy, range of weapons are a marvel of modern technology. Developed at great expense by the weapon's researchers at 'The Vault,' they have aunique ability. Depending on the barrel attached they produce a different type of projectile. As standard, they are set into energy mode, but in less than a minute, the barrels can be swapped to produce a different effect, depending on what the situation warrents.

However, this marvel of technology isn't without its drawbacks. Primarily, the amount of power that is required for it to work means that it requires a bigger powerpack to get off a decent number of shots, making the weapon bulky. It also has a longer reload time when the pack is exhausted. Both of these are problems that scientists at 'The Vault' hope to have resolved within a year.

This area of the forum was made so that people could put information about their ships and weapons down, so that people can understand how they work, how tough they are and what might work to counter them. I like doing this sort of stuff, so it will proberbly mostly be me doing this, wont it??
